Privacy policy and text messaging terms

What we collect

Name, phone, email, address or ZIP, your interest, and anything you type into a form or tell us on a call. If you send a utility bill or a panel photo, we keep it in your project file.

How we use it

To answer your request, build a proposal, schedule and perform work, pull permits, file your interconnection, send appointment reminders and service updates, and ask for a review after a completed job. We may share your details with our financing partner only when you ask us to run a financing option, and with permitting authorities and the utility as required for your project.

Measurement and cookies

We use two measurement tools. Google Analytics counts visits, sees which pages people read, understand how they found us, and record when a form is submitted. It sets cookies in your browser, named _ga and similar, which hold a random identifier rather than your name. We use it to learn what is useful on this site and what is not. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles about you. You can block these cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on, and every part of this site will still work. Blocking them does not affect a quote you have already requested.

Microsoft Clarity shows us where people scroll, what they click and where they give up on a page, and it records anonymous playbacks of those movements so we can see what is confusing. It sets its own cookies, named _clck and _clsk. Text you type is masked before it leaves your browser, so what you enter in a form is not captured in a recording. We use this only to fix pages that are hard to use. You can opt out of both tools with the browser settings or add-ons above, or by turning on Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control, which Clarity honours.

Text messaging (SMS) terms

By checking the consent box on our form, or by texting us first, you agree to receive text messages from Simmons Solar Electric about your quote, appointments and service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out and HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. We do not share your mobile number or opt-in with third parties for their marketing.

Calls

If you ask for a quote we may call the number you provided. Tell us once and we will not call again.

Retention and security

Project files are kept for the life of your warranty. We protect stored data as required by Nevada law (NRS 603A) and delete it on request where no legal record must be kept.
